The Talent Services Manager is responsible for talent services and solutions delivery to APAC (and EMEA) locations and will lead a HR Specialists that support multiple manufacturing / corporate office locations.

This role will partner with Country Business HR, COE, and other Shared Services teams to monitor services delivery and quality, drive continuous process / solutions improvement initiatives, and deliver global/local talent programs

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage team, and coordinate daily activities across locations in a consistent manner
  • Oversee the execution of talent services and solutions in HR Operations
  • Oversee the execution of Local HR services, to ensure risk, compliance, operational excellence, and standardized delivery in employee programs, services, HR policy, process, and procedures
  • Support team in managing the resolution of escalated Talent Inquiries
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Foster a customerfocused culture of continuous improvement within the HR SSC. Collaborate with other operations management areas to identify process and service quality improvement opportunities.
  • Liaise with Managers, Business Leaders, CoEs, and Business HR as needed regarding escalated inquiries and continuous improvement of services
  • Share relevant talent content with Content Maintenance Services professional to maintain on portal site
  • Monitor SLAs and Reporting: Ensure adherence to SLAs, produce and review reports on performance, and identify and track any administration or performance issues. Escalate issues as necessary for timely resolution
  • As applicable, provide local project management support to rollout new programs / initiatives
  • Support the career development of team members. Assess training needs, coach for performance improvement

Mandatory requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • HR Expertise: Exhibit a robust background in HR functions i.e. HR Generalist, Recruitment, Talent Management or relevant
  • Minimum of 7 years of HR experience with 35 years' experience in a people manager capacity in a shared services or manufacturing plant.
  • Must be knowledgeable about HR Processes especially related to manufacturing plants.
  • Team Management: Ability to lead and coach large, diverse, and multicultural teams with a strong team focus and desire to achieve results. Experience managing people in different geographical location is a plus.
  • HRIS: Strong background in HRIS and data management, preferably with experience in systems like Workday, ServiceNow
  • Customer Management: Experience in managing customer relationships and maintaining customer focus and satisfaction.
  • Project Management Skills : Leads multiple multifaceted projects and monitors execution. Has ability to identify and manage potential derailers.
  • Language Skills & Proficiency: Must have expert proficiency in English. Fluency in Malay, Mandarin or Thai is an added advantage.
  • Willing to travel within the region as and when required.
