About the Role

Zurich Australian Insurance Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled HR Consultant to join our APAC team. As a key member of our regional HR team, you will partner with leaders to plan and execute regional initiatives and activities to attract, engage, and retain top talent.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with the Head of Total Rewards, APAC to design and implement executive compensation programs for the region.
  2. Support regional total rewards initiatives, ensuring successful implementation and alignment with business objectives.
  3. Provide ad-hoc and structured analytics, reporting, and coordination support for year-end reviews and business-as-usual activities.
  4. Work with the Head of Talent, APAC to support talent reviews, regional learning and development programs, and activities.
  5. Support talent data reporting for better insights and informed decision-making.
  6. Collaborate with the Head of Employee Experience, APAC on analytics, reporting, and coordination support for annual engagement surveys and regional award submissions.
  7. Draft HR communications to promote and embed HR initiatives across the region.
  8. Support regional HR teams in mergers and acquisitions, as needed.
  9. Manage internal and external relationships with business partners, leaders, and suppliers.
  10. Stay up-to-date with work undertaken by local HR teams to ensure alignment with region and group HR strategy and best practices.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 5 or more years of experience in HR or a related field.
  2. Strong verbal and written communication skills and customer service orientation.
  3. Experience and sensitivity to global working environments and cross-cultural teams.
  4. Experience in working with senior executives and effective stakeholder and relationship management.
  5. Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive materials and critical assignments professionally.
  6. Highly proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  7. Independent, meticulous, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Good time management, planning, organization skills, and able to prioritize and multi-task.
  9. High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  10. Flexible and willing to learn.
