As a Commercial Analyst, you will support the development and execution of commercial strategies across CARSOME's business verticals. You will need to possess strong analytical skills and business acumen to contribute to the analysis, design, recommendation, and early implementation of comprehensive commercial strategies. You will work closely with various commercial and external functions to ensure alignment and successful execution of strategic initiatives.

Your Day-to-Day

Assist in developing and supporting the execution of business strategies aimed at driving revenue growth and cost optimization to improve P&L for the MY business.
● Create financial models to support the measurement of opportunities and the impact of key drivers and assumptions.
● Conduct strategic market analysis and contribute to the formulation of business cases and recommendations, even with limited information, making well-thought-out assumptions and establishing clear success metrics.
● Support the Head of Commercial and Country Managing Director in managing the P&L.
● Collaborate effectively with team members to coordinate commercial strategy execution, including initiatives for new revenue streams and cost improvements.
● Assist in setting policies that govern overall business objectives, from financial impact to customer satisfaction.
● Contribute to the management of strategic projects, ensuring they are driven according to agreed timelines with clear execution strategies and consistent performance monitoring.
● Support lead generation initiatives by working with partners, including internal entities (e.g., ICar and Wapcar) and external marketplaces.
● Assist in studying and strategizing partnership and subsidiary opportunities to achieve sales growth and cost-saving objectives.

You Know-How

● 1-3 years of working experience in consultancy, audit, or a start-up (relevant business function).
● Strong analytical skills and a knack for numbers, with a desire to solve problems and create business impact.
● Good management skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
● Experience in developing and maintaining business dashboards to track key success metrics.
● Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership; capable of kick-starting projects with minimal resources and high ambiguity.
● Proficiency in Excel/Gsheet; strong statistical and analytical skills. Knowledge of Python, SQL, or other advanced data/programming skills is a plus.
● Flexibility to handle varied business problems across multiple verticals in a short timeframe.
● Bachelor's Degree ideally in PPE, business, economics, mathematics, or engineering.
● Proven ability to work within fast-paced and dynamic work environments.
● Resourceful and able to identify the right hiring channels to recruit talented people.
● Required Skill(s): PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
● Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5, RM7,000.00 per month
