Claims Manager

- Reporting directly to Claims Head to ensure smooth daily running of Claims department;
- Reviewing and managing different classes of claims such as property, liability, construction and motor;
- Involved in communications with clients as well as other parties such as insurers, reinsurers, adjusters, lawyers, forensic etc;
- Preparing and updating claims bordereaux and ensure that all outstanding claims are reviewed within required time frame;
- Ensuring follow up on outstanding documents required are promptly requested and shared to expedite conclusion of claims reported;
- Ensuring clients records and files are properly maintained and updated;
- To ensure the interests of the clients are protected;
- Handling internal and external customers' queries or complaints promptly;
- Any other relevant duties that may be assigned to you from time to time by your superior/management.
- Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in the Insurance industry handling claims for Assistant Manager position.
- Minimum 8 years relevant working experience in the Insurance industry handling claims for Manager position.
- Possess a degree in any discipline. Professional Insurance Qualification would be an added advantage.
- Good command in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong technical knowledge in all insurance lines.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and attention to details.
- Ability to execute tasks in a timely manner and work well under pressure.
