Job Scope
  1. Reporting directly to Claims Head to ensure smooth daily running of Claims department;
  2. Reviewing and managing different classes of claims such as property, liability, construction and motor;
  3. Involved in communications with clients as well as other parties such as insurers, reinsurers, adjusters, lawyers, forensic etc;
  4. Preparing and updating claims bordereaux and ensure that all outstanding claims are reviewed within required time frame;
  5. Ensuring follow up on outstanding documents required are promptly requested and shared to expedite conclusion of claims reported;
  6. Ensuring clients records and files are properly maintained and updated;
  7. To ensure the interests of the clients are protected;
  8. Handling internal and external customers' queries or complaints promptly;
  9. Any other relevant duties that may be assigned to you from time to time by your superior/management.
Skills And Experiences
  1. Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in the Insurance industry handling claims for Assistant Manager position.
  2. Minimum 8 years relevant working experience in the Insurance industry handling claims for Manager position.
  3. Possess a degree in any discipline. Professional Insurance Qualification would be an added advantage.
  4. Good command in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  5. Strong technical knowledge in all insurance lines.
  6. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and attention to details.
  8. Ability to execute tasks in a timely manner and work well under pressure.
