Senior Executive, Finance (Account Payable) Job Description

Job Responsibilities
  • Track all payments and expenditures, ensuring necessary documentation is complete before making payments.
  • Reconcile outgoing payments by performing weekly bank reconciliation.
  • Propose supplier payments based on weekly payment aging.
  • Ensure proper bookkeeping records and practices are in place.
Trade Responsibilities
  • Verify all outgoing trade payments made by Finance Executive.
  • Prepare, propose, and submit weekly aging file for trade suppliers.
  • Prepare all outstanding payments to Franchisee.
  • Maintain all transactions, reconcile, and make payments for purchases using company credit card.
  • Verify and monitor monthly trade supplier reconciliation.
  • Compile and verify all accruals for trade suppliers for outstanding invoices based on SOA.
Non-Trade Responsibilities
  • Maintain new outlets Hubdoc Account Set-Up.
  • Compile and reconcile Petty Cash claimed by outlets and verify reimbursement made.
  • Compile and verify all accruals for non-trade suppliers for outstanding invoices based on SOA.
  • Prepare and make payment for all monthly tax installment and SST Submission.
Other Responsibilities
  • Monitor bank reconciliation in Netsuite accounting system and prepare reconciliation report.
  • Perform monthly credit card reconciliation.
  • Compile weekly proposed payment list and Adhoc payments.
  • AP process update and improvement.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; or professional certification.
  • More than 3-4 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • General knowledge of accounting and management principles and accounts payable procedures.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of accounting software.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
