Purpose:

The Key Account Manager will drive profitable and sustainable market share growth within assigned accounts and categories, promoting and respecting the adidas brand image.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with JD Sports Buying Team, adidas SEA CP and AP team, Country sales teams, and Customer Service to achieve profitable growth.
  • Organize and steer the sell-in process, including building assortment plans, creating range presentations, and defining local assortment recommendations.
  • Reconcile orderbooks after key cut-offs for respective key categories.
  • Assist in developing account strategies and manage cross-country stakeholder networks.
  • Monitor and process key figures, such as sell-in and sell-out, and provide category reporting to upward managers.
  • Manage categories aligned to JD's KPIs: sales, margin, inventory cover, sell-out, SKU efficiency, etc.
  • Collaborate with Activation Manager to drive sell-out and bring excitement to consumers.
  • Represent the assigned account internally and manage all interfaces.

Consumer Insights & Analyses:

  • Develop best-in-class reports using available insights, reporting, and analytics to drive action.
  • Analyze consumer demand, category trends, and competitor assortment on JD's platform to identify gaps in current assortment.

Key Relationships:

  • Global: Global Wholesale team, Emerging Markets Wholesale team
  • Cluster: SEA CP and AP team, Country sales teams, and Customer Service team
  • JD Sports Buying team

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including communication, negotiation, presentation, relationship management, and facilitation skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken local language and English.
  • Requisite Education and Experience:
    • University degree in business with marketing and sales focus.
    • Minimum 5 years of sales experience within large sales organizations, ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes or FMCG.
    • Exposure to Sports, Marketing, and Supply Chain.
    • Advanced MS Office Skills.
