The new Group FD or Deputy CFO will report to the Group CFO and lead a sizable team of around 40 people.

Job Description

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the Group CFO and senior management on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities and policy issues
  • Contribute to the development of company's strategic goals and objectives from a financial standpoint
  • Lead the financial operations, financial planning and internal controls team
  • Perform analytical reviews and provide financial modelling and analysis services to functional leaders
  • Ensure financial reporting and accounting processes are conducted in a timely manner
  • Strengthen internal controls and identify potential risk areas with appropriate action plans
  • Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality of work
  • Develop and instil a strong collaborative working environment

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor Degree or higher in Accountancy, Finance or a related subject
  • At least 20 years of progressive accounting and finance working experience from sizable organisations
  • Exposure in retail finance is a must
  • Proven excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills with strong commercial acumen
  • Able to demonstrate strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive the financial performance
  • Prior experience in leading a sizable team size with a diverse background
  • Holds accountability and operate with high integrity
  • Languages in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
