Assistant Director of Sales

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the hotel marketing plan, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives.
  • Complete relevant courses and training programs to enhance product knowledge and skills.
  • Promote and sell hotel products, including rooms, catering, and banquets, to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Produce quotations, contracts, and other sales-related documents efficiently.
  • Operate the hotel reservation system to book rooms, banquet venues, and other services.
  • Establish a good relationship with customers, maintaining up-to-date information and reporting feedback to the hotel.
  • Recommend other hotel chains within the group to clients.
  • Collect and share market and industry information with the Sales team to capture business opportunities.
  • Understand and be familiar with competitor product information, including key customers and their output.
  • Welcome key customers, team leaders, and VIPs to the hotel when they arrive.
  • Handle guest feedback or complaints.
  • Maximize sales at all times and effectively forecast team and banquet revenue.
  • Provide necessary supervision and guidance to the Sales Manager or Director of Sales as needed.
  • Actively participate in the development of marketing plans and collaborate to achieve budgets.
  • Assist the Director of Sales to allocate daily work effectively and organize regular meetings.
  • Assist the Director of Sales to complete relevant parts of the department budget and participate in forecasting and marketing plans.
  • Provide regular training to employees to ensure they are familiar with hotel products and processes.
  • Regularly analyze customer output and source market structure, anticipating market trends and designing products and channels in advance.
  • Assist the Director of Sales in recruiting, selecting, and training employees to maintain team vitality and stability.
Requirements:

  • Communication skills: Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Market analysis: Understand local customers and have strong market analysis ability.
  • Customer resources: Have certain customer resources and be able to lead by example.
  • Organization and presentation skills: Possess good organization and presentation skills.
