Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Director of Sales and Business Development to lead our MICE segment sales efforts across our portfolio of hotels in Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute a country-wide MICE business segment strategy to drive revenue growth and market share.
  2. Lead a team of sales professionals, ensuring alignment and focus on performance, and provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  3. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry professionals, to ensure Hilton's top-of-mind positioning in the MICE segment.
  4. Manage a portfolio of key accounts and develop strategic relationships to drive business growth and revenue.

Requirements
  1. 3+ years of experience in leading a high-performing sales team in a hospitality or related industry.
  2. Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market share in the MICE segment.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  4. Strong business acumen and ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic plans to drive business growth.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
