Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Sales, Client Success Strategy & Execution:

  1. Develop and implement a robust sales and client success strategy aligned with thecompany's growth objectives and market opportunities.
  2. Lead and monitor the performance of the business development/client servicingteam, including project management ensuring they meet or exceed their targets.
  3. Foster key relationships with clients and potential clients, ensuring high levels ofcustomer satisfaction and loyalty.
  4. Oversee the sales process, ensuring it is efficient, effective, and customer-focused.
  5. Coordinate with other department heads to align sales objectives and strategiesacross the organisation.
  6. Identify and pursue global contracts opportunities, driving strategic partnerships anddeals to propel company's regional presence and revenue.

Department Establishment & Marketing Strategy Execution:

  1. Establish a new marketing department, outlining its mission, structure, roles, andresponsibilities to align with our overall business goals.
  2. Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that builds our brand,increases market share, and supports sales efforts.
  3. Oversee all marketing activities including branding, public relations, advertising,white papers, trade shows, seminars, and marketing collateral.
  4. Drive digital marketing efforts including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media,linked-In and others.
  5. Lead the creation and dissemination of thought leadership content, establishing company as an industry authority.
  6. Actively collaborate with the creative team to ensure the innovation and elevation ofclient's brands through effective development and execution of creative GWPStrategies.

Thought Leadership & Industry Awareness:

  1. Develop a strong PR strategy to build brand awareness, promote our thoughtleadership, and create industry buzz.
  2. Oversee the production of articles, resources, and other content to educate themarket on the importance and benefits of GWP marketing.
  3. Stay updated on industry trends and the competitive landscape, adjusting our salesand marketing strategies as needed to stay ahead.

Client Servicing, Project Management & Marketing Process Improvement:

  1. Evaluate current client servicing, project management and marketing processes,identifying areas for improvement to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  2. Implement process changes and monitor their impact, continuously iterating andimproving for optimal results.

Team Management, Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  1. Lead, coach, and develop the client servicing, project management and marketingteams, promoting a culture of high performance, innovation, and continuousimprovement.
  2. Foster an environment of collaboration and communication within the team andwith other departments.
  3. Set and manage performance expectations and goals for the team, reviewingperformance regularly and addressing any issues promptly.
  4. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key departments,especially creative and sourcing team to foster cross-departmental collaboration andinnovation.

Regional Expansion & Collaboration:

  1. Lead company'sregional sales and marketing efforts, establishing a reporting structure toensure effective management and coordination across different regions.
  2. Develop and execute regional expansion strategies, identifying potential markets andoverseeing the setup of new regional offices.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with regional stakeholders to understand localmarket trends, needs, and opportunities.
  4. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure effective logistics, distribution, andcustomer service in new regions.
  5. Identify, negotiate and secure global contracts, fostering relationships with keyinternational stakeholders to advance company's global market position.

Strategic Planning & Financial Management:

  1. Participate in the company's strategic planning, contributing insights from a sales andmarketing perspective.
  2. Drive the strategic planning and budgeting processes for the sales and marketingdepartments, ensuring financial efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  3. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in sales andmarketing, a deep understanding of the market, and the ability to lead and inspire ateam.

Key Skills & Experience:

  1. 10+ years' relevant experience in Sales & Marketing with FMCG/Creative Agency industry
  2. Team management experience must
  3. Strong leadership & communication skills
  4. Ability to think strategically & work in a fast paced environment
  5. Exposure to other Asian countries will be an added advantage
  6. Open for both Malaysian Citizens or EP/PR holders
