As the Sales Head - Malaysia, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our business operations in the Malaysian market.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Business Head - Southeast Asia to create a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals and market requirements.
  2. Sales Target Setting: Establish yearly, quarterly, and monthly sales targets for different transportation verticals and geographies to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition.
  3. Solution-oriented Approach: Explain appropriate solutions to potential customers, showcasing the value of our digital twin products and services.
  4. Sales Planning and Forecasting: Develop sales strategies, identify opportunities, and provide accurate sales forecasting. Manage budgets and resources effectively.
  5. Sales Enablement: Develop and implement sales enablement programs, including training, tools, and resources, to empower the sales team to achieve their targets.
  6. Stakeholder Engagement: Present the company's sales and marketing performance at various company meetings. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in a multi cultural global environment.
  7. Process Management: Define and implement processes that drive desired business outcomes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  8. Business Development: Network at various levels, identify and participate in trade fairs and conferences to expand the company's customer base and enhance public relations.
  9. Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with local operations, service delivery, and administration teams to align corporate strategy with local operations.
  10. Performance Monitoring: Develop metrics to monitor project progress and team performance. Provide monthly reports on various performance indicators.
  11. Team Leadership: Hire, build, and develop a high-performance technology team. Define training programs to enable team members to achieve their potential and support company objectives.
  12. Mentorship and Growth: Provide guidance, mentorship, and a growth path within the organization. Foster a high-performance culture and people practices.
  13. Partnerships: Identify and establish reseller partners and nurture them to grow and be successful.
  14. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to align revenue strategies with overall business objectives and customer needs.
  15. Budget and Resource Management: Work closely with the executive team to set revenue budgets, optimize resource allocation, and ensure efficient utilization of resources.
  16. Leadership and Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing revenue team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  17. Market Analysis and Competitor Intelligence: Conduct thorough market analysis, monitor industry trends, and gather competitor intelligence to identify growth opportunities and stay ahead in the market.

Location : Kuala Lumpur/Selangor, Malaysia

Authority and Reporting: As the Country Manager, you will report directly to the Regional Director of Intangles. You will have the authority to make strategic decisions, manage the local team, and represent the company's interests in Malaysia.

Education and Experience: To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:

Educational Background: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Strong interest in Automobiles specifically in Commercial vehicles (trucks, buses, off-highway equipment) is preferred.

Preferred Colleges: Candidates with degrees (in engineering or business) from top universities or colleges known for their globally renowned programs will be given preference.

Prior Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in senior sales and business development roles, preferably within the technology or software industry. Prior connections working with Automotive fleet and OEM Dealerships is a plus.

Experience in driving sales growth, developing sales strategies, and meeting targets in the technology or digital solutions industry.

Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, foster collaboration, and drive performance.

Business Acumen: Strong business acumen with a track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies. Deep understanding of Logistics, Supply Chain and Passenger transport is necessary to succeed in this role.

Networking and Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and networking skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to identify market opportunities, analyze sales data, and make data-driven decisions.

Result Orientation: A proven track record of achieving sales targets, driving revenue growth, and delivering business outcomes.

Eligibility: This position is open to candidates who have the legal right to work in Malaysia without the need for visa sponsorship.
