Seeking a Senior Vice President - Treaty Reinsurance Broker to lead client relationships, develop business strategies, and collaborate with diverse teams in a global risk and reinsurance specialist company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as key contact person for assigned clients, providing solutions and overseeing day-to-day activities.
  • Develop and deliver business development plans for assigned clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders from various offices in Asia Pacific.
  • Participate in revenue/budget process, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Manage client interactions, resolve issues, and maintain high client satisfaction.
  • Utilize knowledge of client industry to analyze risk reports and develop innovative approaches.
  • Contribute to the firm's body of knowledge through internal communication and sharing insights.
  • Work collaboratively with insurers/reinsurers, clients, and colleagues to deliver complex solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging risks to provide proactive advice.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, showcasing expertise and value proposition.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 15-20 years related experience with ability to deal with moderately complex accounts and mid-sized generating clients.
  • Good knowledge of treaty reinsurance business.
  • Interpersonal skills for establishing and maintaining good client, reinsurer, and internal relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills for complex communications.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and solve new problems.
  • Understanding of clients' business and strong ability to work as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • (Re)insurance or other financial services experience.
  • Drive to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Power BI.
  • Excellent written and spoken communications skills.
  • General knowledge of business principles and reinsurance industry trends.
  • Self-motivated individual with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
