Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales and Client Relations to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to lead our sales efforts, drive revenue growth, and build strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, a deep understanding of the corporate travel industry, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target client organizations.
- Lead the sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to help them achieve their sales goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including operations, quality assurance and finance, to ensure alignment of sales activities with overall business objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, presentations, and contracts to prospective clients, negotiating terms and pricing as needed.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and market trends to inform strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service level by delivering exceptional service and addressing client needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, managing ongoing relationships and proactively identifying opportunities to add value and meet their evolving needs.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery of services and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise within expected service level.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance and recommendations to optimize their travel programs and achieve their business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 4-10 years of experience in sales leadership roles within the corporate travel industry, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of corporate travel management processes, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team to achieve results.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and solutions to clients and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach to sales and business development.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales productivity tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and sales activities.
Work arrangements:
MON-FRI 9AM – 6PM, PH OFF; Travel as needed to meet clients.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM8, RM11,000.00 per month
