About the Role:
- Lead marketing and commercial plans for a leading brand in the FMCG industry
- Identify business opportunities and work with a multi-functional team to build cohesive commercial plans
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to deliver end-to-end plans for Japan, including qualifying communication ideas, adjusting portfolio pricing, and identifying shopping barriers and opportunities
Your Team:
- You and other Assistant Brand Managers will report to the Brand Manager for the Category or Business Unit
- You will work extensively with colleagues from Sales, Communications, Finance, and other departments
What Success Looks Like:
- Demonstrate positive relationship building skills with multi-functional teams
- Deliver business targets in line with the goals of the Business Unit
- Drive category growth, market penetration, and the acquisition of new users through product innovation and design
- Develop and deploy marketing toolkits for the brand
Responsibilities:
- Understand consumers' needs and wants for P&G's products and provide input to Research & Development and technical teams
- Lead consumer research to develop brand concepts, benefits, and claims that address consumers' unmet needs
- Communicate with local partners, stakeholders, and suppliers to drive P&G business initiatives
- Lead creative agencies to develop communication ideas and execute TV copy production tailored to local cultural nuances
- Develop initiatives and toolkits for the brand, including copy, prints, digital content, and in-store activation
- Craft promotion and pricing strategies with the local trade team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Advertising, Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Communication
- At least 3 years' experience in the FMCG industry
- Proven critical thinking and experience in brand strategy, equity, and architecture
- Excellent leadership, strategic, and analytical thinking skills
- Ability to drive innovation and brand growth
- Strong communication and team capabilities
