Looking for a Dynamic individual who is responsible to identify, evaluate, properly measure, mitigate and monitor market risks in the perspective of VaR and Capital. The person would need to ensure market risks undertaken are within the Risk Appetite of the Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible to properly measure, monitor and evaluate market risk of CIMB Group to ensure risks undertaken are within the Risk Appetite of each entity under CIMB Group Holdings Bhd.
  • Publish appropriate daily market risk reports and monitoring of limits, as well as monthly regulatory reporting.
  • Attentive and highlight event on all matters pertaining to market risk VaR and exposures.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly market risk exposure for management committee.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly regulatory capital on Market Risk
  • Understand various financial products, business / trading strategy and keep abreast with market development and regulatory changes and requirements.
  • Built and maintain strong relationship with business sponsors and support units.
  • Improve daily monitoring process, reports generation and maintenance of Market Risk Infrastructure
  • Assist and involve in the Stress Testing process
  • Reengineer the data output and risk reporting process through system enhancement
  • Participate in system testing, business continuity testing and ad-hoc projects
Job Requirements
  • Preferably experienced in risk management, treasury or related fields. Fresh graduates will be considered.
  • Degree in Financial Mathematic, Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Finance or other related fields.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and in fast pace environment.
  • Ability to adhere to tight dateline
  • Strong analytical skills and motivated team player.
  • PKMC/FRM/PRM certification or CFA candidates will be an advantage
  • Familiar with MS Excel VBA, Bloomberg & Reuters terminals and Murex will be an advantage
  • Possess an end-to-end process and control mindset.
