In this role, you will make an impact by:
- Conducting laboratory experiments following Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and maintaining accurate records.
- Performing HPLC analysis and other analytical techniques to support technical service activities.
- Enforcing compliance with safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards, including proper chemical handling and waste disposal.
- Developing and delivering technical training for internal teams and external customers.
- Troubleshooting and optimizing enzyme applications through laboratory testing.
- Maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Preparing technical reports and presentations to communicate findings effectively.
- Collaborating with commercial teams to provide lab-based technical support for enzyme applications in grain processing and biofuel industries.
To succeed, you must hold:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of laboratory experience, preferably in grain processing, biofuels, or enzyme applications.
- Hands-on experience with HPLC analysis and basic laboratory operations.
- Strong understanding of GLP and laboratory safety practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot analytical and process-related challenges effectively.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also managing individual responsibilities effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for both research and lab operations.
- Agile and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
