The Commercial Leader, Malaysia for Leica Biosystems is responsible for driving significant revenue and profit growth through effective management of sales & applications activities in Singapore. S/he is expected to meet or exceed revenue goals by executing sales initiatives in alignment with regional marketing strategy.

This position is part of the Sales Team located in Malaysia and will be fully remote. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

You will be a part of the Commercial Sales Team and report to the General Manager, Diagnostics, Malaysia responsible for delivering the country revenue target and to meet the company financial goals.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead and achieve the total sales and margin targets for LBS Malaysia across all Leica Biosystems product groups.
  2. Lead a team of sales and application to drive country strategies.
  3. Drive market leads and convert them to sales opportunities, partnering with regional marketing leads to develop sufficient funnel and managing quality funnel and hygiene.
  4. Develop & execute LBS strategy in-country in partnership with service, marketing/commercial operation/product management team.
  5. Identify KOL (Key Opinion Leader)s for each market and manage relationships to drive commercial opportunities and pricing in order to enhance LBS's position in the market.
Essential Requirements
  1. Minimum of 15 years of escalating experience in sales, distributor management, sales management, and/or marketing roles in Southeast Asia.
  2. Experience in regional healthcare environment desired; demonstrated track record building relationships with distributors and partners.
  3. Strong communication skills in English.
  4. Proven leadership skills; strong leadership style that creates a team environment to achieve results.
  5. Strong business acumen.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Proven ability to 'system' and 'circular' sell within accounts.
  2. Solid understanding of selling medical capital equipment and consumables.
  3. Demonstrated functional experience in areas such as strategic selling.
