Your day at NTT DATA

The Business Operations Specialist is a seasoned subject matter expert, responsible for evaluating, improving, and maintaining an organization's core operational processes to ensure an efficient and productive workflow.

The Business Operations Specialist assesses existing processes and systems, identifies opportunities for improvement, and devises more efficient or cost-effective alternatives.

What You'll Be Doing

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manages day-to-day business operations of a business area(s).
  2. Optimizes operational processes and procedures for maximum efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
  3. Assists with the implementation of new processes, policy and procedures within a business area(s).
  4. Identifies ways to improve stakeholder experiences.
  5. Interacts with various stakeholders such as vendors and other internal stakeholders to resolve queries.
  6. Tracks and reports on business operational performance across business area(s).
  7. Maintains policy and procedure documents.
  8. Manages ad hoc business operations type projects or programs.
  9. Drives increased data quality and solves challenging operational business goals.
  10. Spends time developing improvement plans to solve business problems.
  11. Assists with the implementation of change management initiatives.
  12. Creates reports to analyze operational data.
  13. Performs any other related task as required.

Knowledge and Attributes:

  1. Seasoned understanding of business and/or operational processes and policies.
  2. Ability to produce a high quality of work.
  3. Seasoned communication skills, including the ability to be influential and persuasive with senior level stakeholders.
  4. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with senior level stakeholders.
  5. A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  6. Excellent planning and organization skills.
  7. Seasoned problem analysis and solving skills.
  8. Ability to multitask and work independently.
  9. Demonstrate high ethics and adherence to company values.
  10. Displays good analytical and reasoning skills.
  11. Excellent business acumen skills.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration or a related field.

Required Experience:

  1. Seasoned demonstrated experience gained within a similar role.
  2. Seasoned demonstrated project management experience.
  3. Seasoned demonstrated experience of successful business process implementation.
