Job Summary

This role is responsible for overseeing the procurement, tracking and maintaining the accuracy of the inventory system which will help to ensure compliance and optimize the usage of the license software within the organization. It involves ensuring that the organization adheres to licensing agreements, optimizes license usage, and avoids legal or financial risks associated with non-compliance.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy
  • Secure, rationalize and modernize our technology estate and on-demand data environment.
  • Strategize architectural design to fit future requirements, improve stability and security, and meet regulatory requirements.

  • Improve operational efficiency and excellence.
Business
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings by consolidating licenses or negotiating with vendors.
  • Analyze software usage patterns to ensure licenses are used efficiently and effectively.
  • Recommend license adjustments or retirements based on usage and needs.

  • Manage and track software and product licenses across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and vendor terms.

  • Automation related skill set e.g. SQL Power Query, Java, SharePoint, DevOps
  • Reporting Tool related skill set e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Python, Microsoft Excel
  • Analytical Skill. Strong in complex license calculation.
  • IT Asset Management, Software Asset Management, License Management and/or Supply Chain Management related skillset
  • Practical experience managing a Software asset or license management program for a global firm
  • Familiarity with software license management principles, license calculation methodologies, end to end software license management process, discovery tools, and Inventory management products
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Computer Science, IT or Related Field
  • ITIL foundation training, CSAM, ServiceNow SAM Pro
  • ITIL Foundation, Certified Software Asset Manager, Procurement/Finance Certification
