Branch Operations Senior Executive (Team Lead)

Roles & Responsibilities:
To provide prompt, courteous and satisfactory customer service to conserve existing policyholders and agents whilst preserving the confidentiality of customer information.

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation in respect of collection of funds, issuance of receipt, reconciliation and cancellation of receipts.
  • To process New Business application from agents by performing data entry, quality check and scanning.
  • To process all service requests according to the MCIS Authority Manual and within internal turnaround time.
  • To process Claims at branch level according to internal standard operating procedure and within internal turnaround time.
  • Ensure all service requests from customers are scanned and indexed into the imaging system.
  • At all times preserve the confidentiality of customer information and comply with PDPA and AMLA requirements, procedures and guidelines. Ensure to run the AML Flags Report and Top Up report on a daily basis to ensure all staff risk assessment forms have been completed within 24 hours.
  • Ensure all management reports are submitted on a timely basis without fail according to the timelines/schedule stipulated.
  • Ensure all branch staff are participating in policy conservation activity and encourage every customer who is currently on direct method payment to convert to deduction method.
  • To undertake any other tasks assigned by the Superior from time to time and provide any service required by the sales team or Business Development Manager.
  • To exercise leadership, guide, coach and motivate staff within the Department in ensuring the strategic and operational management are in line with Business Plans towards the achievement of individual and business goals.
  • To maintain staff morale, enforce discipline and code of ethics and resolve conflicts to achieve team objectives and decorum of the company through leadership by example.
  • To ensure the business plan is implemented and the objectives are achieved by the branch.
  • To ensure the Key Performance Index (KPI) for branch staff are set, monitored and achieved; and to perform appraisal exercise for branch staff based on the KPI.

Requirements:

  • Possess a minimum Degree of relevant discipline / Diploma or professional certification.
  • With a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing a team and customer service.
  • Pleasant disposition and good communication skills.
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin in written & spoken.
  • Must be able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Pass PCE and CEILI will be an added advantage.
