Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Sales Executive to join our team. In this role, you will drive revenue growth by developing new business opportunities and managing relationships with key clients. You will lead the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring that revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

Key Scope of Works
  • Identify, create new leads and grow the existing customers' business with new opportunities in the manufacturing space.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed the group's targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive growth.
  • Understand existing or new customer requirements, develop a tailor-made business proposal and presentation together with the Engineering Team.
  • After securing orders, support project delivery with engineering team members for the committed scope.
  • Ensure excellent customer service through regular follow-up with customers.
  • Support BDM to translate proposals into ready-to-sign contracts.
  • Support BDM to translate discussions into action items during internal and external meetings.

Required Skills and Capabilities
  • Creative and innovative sales approach with a driven and result-oriented mindset to support the BDM.
  • Visit customers, understand their requirements, and develop business proposals based on Hitachi as well as non-Hitachi products with quantifiable benefits.
  • Basic IT technical knowledge is mandatory.
  • Identify market requirements by visiting customers and potential partners, as well as conducting market research.
  • Work with engineering counterparts from customer side and from other Hitachi organizations to develop solution/service requirements.
  • Work with the BDM to develop the go-to-market strategy, assisting them to understand the best market positioning of the solution/service, key benefits, and target customers.
  • Work with BDM to create business cases for solutions and services to secure internal funding, including developing go-to-market plans, customer benefit analysis, pricing, and business models.
  • Serve as an internal and external leader for solution and service offerings by working with technical channels and key customers.
  • Analyze potential partner relationships for the solution and service business and promote them.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Word for business proposals and strategic planning.
Required Experiences
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent with a fundamental knowledge of various topics in IT technology.
  • Five (5) years of combined experience in a sales role, with at least three (3) years in sales business development for companies offering products and services aimed at Smart Manufacturing or Building in the ASEAN market.
  • Outstanding communication (written and oral) and intercultural skills in English.
