Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a Trip Curator for South East Asia who has a taste for authentic and adventurous travel and loves helping others experience the same. This role requires extensive communication with customers, our experience partners and internal team members, making good communication skills a must. Creative problem solvers that enjoy finding a solution to any sticky situation do best in this role. The ideal candidate will have travelled around South East Asia or has lived in countries outside of their own. Experience in travel and/or hospitality sector is preferred, but not necessary.

What you will be doing
- Communicating with customers via various channels (email, IG, Whatsapp, etc) to help them plan their trips and choose the best experiences matching their requirements;
- Communicating with our experience partners to get the most detailed and up to date information for our customers in a timely manner;
- Addressing any immediate experience partner concerns that would potentially impact the customer experience;
- Delivering a delightful customer experience by using problem solving skills and internal tools;
- Learning about Seek Sophie product offerings in detail, so that accurate and insightful information can be delivered to the customer;
- Observing trends while communicating with customers and informing the broader team so that product offers and improvements can be put in place accordingly.
Eligibility requirements
- Passionate about off the beaten path travel and aspire to learn and explore new destinations;
- Excellent communication skills: listening, writing, speaking in English; other languages a plus;
- Customer focused with a friendly professional approach and commitment to customer satisfaction;
- Superb organisational and prioritisation skills, with ability to multitask;
- Quick learner, open to feedback, desire invest in own continuous improvement;
- Enjoy working in a fast paced environment;
- Resourcefulness - we're a small company so often you'll need to be able to come up with simple and resourceful solutions to complex problems
- Strong work ethic. At Seek Sophie, there's a huge amount of responsibility and we trust you. So it's key to have a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence;
- 1-3 years of experience in sophisticated customer service or customer success roles, where excellent product knowledge was required, is a huge plus.
