Assistant Manager, Claims

**Responsibilities**
- Provide quality claims services to meet customer satisfaction.
- Ensure comply all claim processes, procedures, policies and guidelines as stipulated in the Claims Manual and / or instructions.
- Handle and conduct assessment of motor claims files.
- To conduct desktop assessment, spot checks and IVA.
- Conduct editing of external adjuster’s report to ensure quality recommendation on cost of repairs.
- Conduct discussions with workshops and adjusters for dispute cases.
- Provide technical assistance, guidance to peers and other department in relation to assessment of damages.
- Assist superior in monitoring and reviewing the panel workshop and adjusters’ activities and performances.
- Monitor status of outstanding adjuster report and review them for standard of service in assessment and cycle time.
- Conduct post repair inspection as and when necessary
- Assist in sourcing of alternate parts and availability of parts to ensure repairs are carried out smoothly.
**Requirements**:
- Degree or Diploma holder in any field/Associate MII/CII.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Insurance industry.
- Have experience in conducting automotive survey and damage assessment.
- Good communication skills, negotiation skills and meticulous.
- Strong organization, prioritization and good stakeholder management.
- Sound knowledge of Motor Policy Coverage and Claims handling.
