**Positions Available**:
- **Commiss 1 / 2 - Japanese Cuisine**: Work alongside our experienced chefs to prepare and execute Japanese-inspired dishes for a variety of events, ranging from corporate gatherings to weddings and everything in between. Whether you're a seasoned sushi chef or a master of ramen, there's a place for you on our team
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the preparation and assembly of sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and other traditional Japanese dishes with precision and attention to detail.
- Ensure that all ingredients are fresh, properly portioned, and presented in accordance with our high culinary standards.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine Japanese-inspired menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and creative flavor combinations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following food safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet the demands of our clients and ensure timely delivery of exceptional dining experiences.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment, with a focus on Japanese cuisine preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of Japanese cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles, with a passion for learning and mastering new culinary skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with speed and accuracy under pressure.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Culinary degree or certification from a recognized culinary institution is a plus but not required.
