**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Responsibilities**:

- Part of Malaysia CIB Markets Technology team responsible for technology project planning, management, and implementation for CIB market in country local owned projects.
- Work collaboratively in Southeast Asia Branches teams to support local business demands and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals.
- Perform health checks & monitor infrastructure, servers, databases, distributed batch jobs.
- Manage, track, and validate all changes in production & disaster recovery environment.
- Assesses risks and controls including server hygiene, vulnerability & security management and recognizing gaps in processes and escalating actions plan.
- Liaise with local vendors, service providers and regulatory parties.
- Maintain strong partnership with different business stakeholders to ensure understanding of business requirement, working out project scope/plan and prioritizing time and resource.
- Maintain strong linkage with regional / global teams to leverage good practice, processes, functions, and resources.

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or other relevant majors
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in financial services
- Knowledge of markets products Fixed-Income, Equities & Regulatory Reporting (e.g. CCRIS, ROMS) would be advantage
- Technology development/project management/delivery experience, preferably within Banking or Securities financial services sector.
- Experience of working with internal audit teams and external regulators
- Tactical thinking and strong analytical skills with high and fast learning capability.
- Knowledge of Incident, Problem & Change Management processes and tools
- Good mindset of risk management and cyber security.
- Good team player and collaboration.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, with an ability to remain calm under pressure while prioritizing workloads to meet business expectations

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Operating System (Window Server, RHEL Linux)
- Database skills (Oracle, MS SQL) including SQL and Stored Procedures
- Scripting -Shell Scripting, html, phyton
- Web Server skills - IIS, Tomcat, Apache
- Monitoring Tools GENEOS
- Scheduling Tools AUTOSYS
- Network / Infrastructure knowledge
