Quality Control Team Leader

DepartmentOperations- LevelExperienced (Individual Contributor)- LocationMalaysia - Kuala LumpurThe Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.
- Lead, oversee daily operations and administrative functions.
- Assist Operations Supervisor in managing Quality Control daily operations for the Shopee International Platform team.
- Act as a backup team leader for the operation team.
- Manage high-stake processes such as intercepting prohibited parcels or dangerous goods and processing high-value parcels.
- Manage temporary staff attendance, productivity, and training, while ensuring work quality.
- Provide training to the Quality Control team on equipment utilization such as X-ray machines.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to address warehouse stuck orders issues.
- Seek for continuous process improvement to enhance productivity.
- Any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or relevant disciplines is preferred. Others with transferable skill sets are welcomed to apply.
- Experienced in logistics operations would be preferred.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English will be added as an advantage.
- Strong leadership skills, promoting collaboration and teamwork across different departments or stakeholders.
- Intermediate computer skills such as Excel or Google Sheet.
- Working pattern: 45 working hours weekly (including lunch time), Overtime if required.
