Job Description:

- 1. Assisting Executive Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes.

2. Inform Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out of stock menu items.

3. Ensure the quality of the food items.

4. Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards and food preparation checklist.

5. Monitoring portion and waste control.

6. Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes within the specialty section.

7. Integrate, train and supervise the Commis Chefs

i. Maintaining quality standard
- Takes care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the superiors to meet the standard and the quality set by the restaurant.

ii. Operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment
- Example: Stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven

iii. Communicate assistance needed during busy periods.

iv. Follow the directions of the executive and sous chef

8. Allocate duties to the team of Commis Chefs

Qualifications & Requirements:

- 1. High school diploma or equivalent

2. Minimum 2 years’ experience in culinary field

3. Has experience with handling of commercial kitchen equipment.

4. Good understanding of food hygiene standards and Health and Safety requirements

5. Ability to work well in a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,850.85 - RM3,449.59 per month
