**Job Summary**
- Ensure quality of foods served are maintained at a high standard. Chefs should taste and visually inspect before final product is served.
- Support F&N Senior Manager to plan for promotions and sales to improve revenue of department.
- Support F&N Senior Manager to plan for functions.
- Maintain kitchen and dining outlets’ cleanliness and hygiene at all times and monitor on pest control.
- Ensure efficient cost management for the departments in terms of food spoilage, inventory, minimize food surpluses and food portion control.
- Ensure Department maintain standards which MMC are accredited.
- Plan menu and propose new menu for testing and presentation with support from Demi Chef.
- To ensure daily marketing and grocery list is prepared and stocks are sufficient.
- To ensure all food prepared are according to the standard in terms of hygiene.
- To assist in food preparing for functions.
- Daily check of mise-en-place, preparation, cooking and presentation of food.
- Check the quantity and quality of food received in term of freshness from food supplies and store.
- Ensure all machines, furniture, equipment and utensils are clean and in working condition at all times.
- Ensure kitchen is safe and PPE is in place. Staff have undergone the fire orientation and involved in drills.
- Follow the guidance of F&N Senior Manager in preparation and presentation of food.
- Ensure all standardized recipes are utilized and followed.
- Ensure customer satisfaction is maintained.
- Coordinate daily tasks with cooks and Demi Chef
- Ensure compliance to all policies and procedures pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation
- Ensure correct use of equipment and utensils.
- Check periodically expiry dates and proper storage of food items in their section

**Requirement and Qualification**
- Minimum SPM or Diploma in Culinary or equivalent.
- At least 8 - 10 years of working experience in the Food and Beverage/Hospitality industry
- Have experience in Western cuisine cooking will be preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
