Assistant Brand Manager/ Manager

This role is to assist head of marketing manage and develop all aspects of brand strategies: consumer insights, media, consumer and trade promotion, market research, product development, pricing, volume and operations planning, contribute to the development of the product / brand market strategy, define new product extension within the brand portfolio, and drive new product development to grow products in-line with business goals
**Role & Responsibilities**:
- Competitor analysis - Identify competitive and alternative offerings in the market. Make recommendations for strategies to expand our market position & propose strategies for winning or maintaining our position against the competition
- Achieve brand sales target and manage marketing spend. Deliver Marketing activity on time achieve brand awareness to improve market share
- Performance analysis - Review brand performance, analyse and provide plan to improve brand’s market share
- Product strategy - lead on the creation of the recommended product strategy and roadmap for the product line based on business objective within the brand portfolio
- Pricing and packaging - contribute towards establishing pricing models, launch schedules, product selling story, merchandize guidelines, and launch support. Work closely with agency or designer to develop packaging & product selling story.
- Business / Launch plan - support HOD propose recommendations for appropriate launch plan, sales targets, product P&L and launch support
- Performance analysis - monitor product performance for existing and new products, understand the win / loss of the product performance with product lifecycle & profitability evaluation & provide recommendation.
**Requirement**:
- Minimum Degree in Business Studies/Marketing/Economics
- Minimum 5 years related experience in FMCG industry specialize in brand/product marketing or trade marketing
- Comfortable with working with numbers, understanding metrics, and can processing data provide with good analytical skill
- Good in Microsoft power point
- Good communication skills and able to interact with different levels within and outside of the organization
- Able to work at fast pace environment and be sensitive with the market trend
**Salary**: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
