Purpose
Deliver a full range of HR services for the assigned country/region, in line with the HR and business strategy, and including the realization of strategic objectives for HR. Within the country/region, manage key stakeholders related to HR matters. Partner with managers and teams to ensure high performing teams and functional units, and support the achievement of business objectives. Final responsible person in the country/region with regards to HR matters and first point of contact for senior management in the country/region.

Key accountabilities
1. Accountable for an optimal performing team, through a.o. leading, motivating, coaching, and developing assigned team members.
2. Accountable for the day to day performance of local/regional HR operational services and ensure operational excellence of all HR processes in the local/regional organization.
3. Ensure optimal and up to date local HR policies, processes, and tools (in line with global HR and/or local requirements) and ensure they are implemented and correctly executed within the local organization.
4. Advise, coach, and supportmanagers and employees on employee related matters (i.e. employment conditions, collective labor agreement, HR policies, processes and tools, absence, etc.).
5. Identify external developments, determine the consequences and translate into organizational solutions.
6. Initiate, execute and implement organizational (re)design and change processes.
7. Advise and coach managers in the performance management process, skills and competence management, talent reviews and succession planning. Support managers in identifying development needs, and facilitate development activities (on individual, team and organizational level).
8. Drive implementation of strategic priorities and manage change in the country/region, by leading the team and alignment with key stakeholders.

Required certifications, knowledge and skills
- Up to date knowledge of and experience in HR management, including leading others
- Educational background in Human Resources
- Good understanding of local labor legislation
- Good understanding of all human resource functionalities
- Proficient in the English and local language, both written and verbal
