As a Blue Economy Partnership Associate, you are the heart of Ocean Purpose Project. You are a seasoned sales and business developer who is a nurturer and who will be responsible for the growth, business development, and building an ocean community for Ocean Purpose Project in Singapore,
Malaysia and potentially other regions, where needed by the business.
The role requires a highly results oriented individual who cares about the oceans and building dynamic relationships to ensure Ocean Purpose Project’s solutions come to fruition. You must possess a strong sense of purpose, excellent independent work attitude, deliver impeccable work to tight deadlines and showcase how well you can secure partnerships and generate revenue.

This is the perfect role for someone adept at working from anywhere in the world remotely and independently and able to proactively check in with the Singapore team. Travel to Singapore and regional offices will eventually be unlocked. You will be working remotely or from our beach offices and be comfortable participating in clean ups, standing knee deep in the muddy mangroves alongside the C-suite to power networking at conferences amidst industry partners and the movers and shakers of ocean conservation.

**Job function**:

- Build Rapport and Arrange Meetings: Leverage your outstanding conversation skills to contact potential clients, establish rapport, and arrange meetings, making a lasting impression that fosters strong relationships.
- Develop Quotes and Proposals: Create customized quotes and proposals that highlight

Ocean Purpose Project’s unique products and services, showcasing the value they bring to clients' gifting experiences.
- Close New Business Deals: Draw on your resourcefulness to coordinate requirements, negotiate contracts, and integrate contract requirements with business operations, successfully closing new business deals.
- Client Relationship Management: Nurture existing client relationships and proactively identify opportunities to increase their engagement with Ocean Purpose Project’s offerings, fostering long-term customer loyalty. Employ strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and stakeholders, nurturing lasting customer relationships. Utilize your resourcefulness to identify client needs and offer personalized solutions, serving as a sales consultant and trusted advisor.
- Attend Conferences and Industry Events: Actively participate in conferences, meetings, and industry events to network, gain insights, and leverage your resourcefulness to discover potential clients and partnerships.

Purpose Project’s key pillars.
- Exploring Business Leads: Develop sales for OPP products and services such as Corporate

& School beach clean ups, Eco gardening and capacity building workshops in Singapore and regionally, Corporate & School online workshops (global) and in person workshops(Singapore).
- Thought Leadership: Brand OPP as the Blue Economy expert for speaking engagements and conference coverage for OPP’s C Suite and Board of Directors
- Community Leader that is “Plugged in”: Creating strategic blue partnerships, Remain up to date with latest news on ocean plastic polluters, news about ocean pollution and conservation
- Highly Driven Sales Approach: Demonstrate a go-getter attitude, driven to exceed sales targets through proactive and persistent efforts. Display confidence and ease in cold calling potential clients, harnessing your resourcefulness to generate leads. Articulate and “not shy” to exhibit effective presentation and negotiation skills, showcasing your resourcefulness in closing deals.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Proficiency in managing and maintaining a sales pipeline and

CRM systems to drive consistent business growth through resourceful lead generation.
