**Location : Penang**

**Responsibilities**

**a. Guest Services**
- Welcome guests upon arrival and facilitate efficient check-in and check-out processes.
- Assign rooms and manage room changes as needed.
- Handle new reservations and bookings, ensuring accurate data entry into the hotel system.
- Provide guests with comprehensive information about the hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities.
- Address and resolve guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and courteously.
- Promote and upsell additional hotel facilities and services where appropriate.

**b. Front Desk Operations**:

- Oversee daily front desk operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Manage online and phone reservations, maintaining up-to-date records of bookings and payments.
- Handle cashier duties, including processing payments and verifying credit card information.
- Perform closing audits at the end of each shift.

**c. Coordination and Communication**:

- Liaise with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean, tidy, and fully furnished to meet guests’ needs.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.

**d. Training and Development**:

- Provide training to front desk staff on hotel systems, procedures, and customer service standards.
- Assist in the ongoing development and motivation of front desk team members.

**e. Additional Duties**:

- Perform any other tasks as assigned by superiors to support hotel operations.
- Participate in training for navigation of hotel systems and online booking engines.

**Requirements**:

- Basic Language Proficiency (English & Malay)
- Able to converse in Mandarin is a plus
- Digitally savvy, good with using online software and mobile.
- Able to work on Shift Rotation Basis (Morning, Afternoon, Overnight, Mid-Morning)
- Minimum Education: SPM
- Good Customer Service Skills
- Responsible, Independent, Honest and Hardworking
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Training will be provided for navigation of Hotel Systems and Online Booking Engines.
- Previous hospitality experience would be advantageous.
- Well-presented and professional appearance.
- Ability to learn on the job.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,400.00 per month
