Hanson’s business in Malaysia is generally divided into the Quarry and Concrete Divisions. The Hanson Quarry Products Division has established an excellent reputation for the production of quarry products and a range of asphaltic products that conform to the most stringent specifications for the construction of roads, highways and runways. Hanson Malaysia operates 15 quarries and 17 asphalt plants while its 37 ready-mixed concrete batching plants cover the whole of Peninsular Malaysia with plants strategically located from Langkawi in Kedah to Pekan on the East Coast and to Johor Bahru in the South.
