**Chief of Staff**

The Company is an investor-backed outpatient brain health facility dedicated to providing exceptional care to individuals facing regular life and brain health challenges. With a capacity to serve 6,000 patients weekly, our group of clinics is committed to innovation, excellence in care, and comprehensive patient support. We are seeking a Chief of Staff (CofS) to play a pivotal role in our leadership team, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring our operations align with our mission to deliver outstanding brain health services.

This position reports directly to the CEO of the Group of Companies, has a dotted line reporting relationship to the Director of Business Development (DBD), and collaborates closely with leadership on various special projects and initiatives in brain health. The CoS will oversee efforts to enhance processes to increase efficiencies and effectiveness across the group of companies, clinics, in both daily service efforts and long-term strategies. The CoS will act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team, ensuring that the strategic vision is implemented effectively across all levels of the organization. This role requires a highly strategic and analytical thinker who can manage complex projects, lead organizational change, and enhance operational efficiencies while maintaining a focus on quality patient care.

**Job Function Areas;**

**Lead Operations & Strategic Planning**

The CoS performs professional-level management of high-priority, complex projects and initiatives such as policy, research and development and internal and external project management of executive level initiatives. While collaborating with the DBD, the position makes decisions or recommendations regarding assigned administrative or programmatic functions. The CoS ensures operating policies and procedures exist in each business entity and are reviewed and updated annually. By working collaboratively with their team, the CoS will develop methods to eliminate process and operating silos through the development of integrated teams and cross-training efforts. The CoS will also provide leadership and operational oversight for the DBD, conveying an atmosphere of excellence and distinction, in support of the Company’s mission, vision, and goals.

**Management**

The CoS will supervise five administrative team leaders and another operations staff member across six (6) different business entities, focusing on brain health clinic's operations. They will manage the team, providing oversight of team responsibilities as well as development activities focused on the brain health clinic sector. The CoS will provide direct supervision, leadership, training and development, and oversight to staff members in the 6 business entities. This position is responsible for strategic direction, oversight, goals, developing resources for growth/development, and assessment of these staff members and their subordinates. The CoS will work closely with each of these staff supervisors to ensure there is sufficient coverage for the 6 business entities. They will also advise on policies and procedures that relate to the critical functions of the staff members.

**Problem-Solving**

The CoS will ensure the effective leveraging of information and data for decision-making at all levels, implementing well-researched and innovative business practices specific to brain health, documenting all policies, practices, and procedures, maximizing relationships, and strengthening operational practices. The CofS serves an important role as the hub for problem-solving. Serving as liaison between the various business entities, the staff members, the department heads, and the senior administration (CEO and DBD). CofS will also address problems that arise in inter-team communications and facilitate short-term and long-term solutions.

**JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**LEADERSHIP**
- Acts as the principal aide to the CEO to coordinate all activities in support of institutional priorities.
- Prepares or assists with reports, briefings, presentations, and responses on complaints and strategic issues, as appropriate.
- Serves as a member of the CEO’s leadership team
- Supervises, trains, and evaluates all new hires
- In conjunction with division directors, supervises, hires, trains, and evaluates staff to coordinate relevant information and to create/implement workflows and projects that anticipate or respond to needs of the CEO.
- Continually improves and seeks professional development opportunities/feedback on supervision style and approaches to better enhance staff development, morale, and cohesion.
- Scans the horizon for what may happen and what may be coming
- Manages meeting, strategy, and oversees creation of briefing materials for CEO.
