**Job Summary**:
We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented Event Management Trainee to join our dynamic team. As an Event Management Trainee, you will assist in various aspects of event planning and execution, gaining hands-on experience and developing your skills in a supportive environment. Your role will involve supporting budgeting, inventory management, project planning, accommodation arrangement, feedback surveys, event execution, staff management, adherence to requirements, venue communication, vendor coordination, logistics handling, participant inquiries, and contractor negotiations.

**Your Key Responsibilities**:

- Source Event venue including hotel, restaurant, event space and exhibition centre
- Source Event production equipment such as AV, backdrops, banners, name badge, lighting, branding and swags
- Ability to negotiate with all vendors and suppliers
- Ability to take control and manage all aspect of event from idea creation to execution
- Collaborate and communicate with team, vendor and customer
- Manage event onsite, this include travel to all event locations, if needed
- Manage and control even budget

**Job Specification**:
**You are/have**:

- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams, clients, vendors, and participants.
- Basic knowledge of budgeting and financial management, with a willingness to learn and develop these skills.
- Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality events that meet and exceed expectations.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle unexpected challenges or changes during events.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours as required by event schedules.
- Have at least 3 years experience in event management and planning

**Languages**:
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and verbal). Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.

**Education**:
**Work Experience**:
Some experience in event planning or a similar role is beneficial, but not required. This position is ideal for those looking to start their career in event management.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
