**The Company**:Batik Village Malaysia is a creative production house for high-quality batik fabric masterpieces delivering exceptional quality. In line with our business reborn, we are currently looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team.

**The Position**: Outside Sales Representatives work as ambassadors of the company and are responsible for increasing sales by establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with new and repeat customers. This position is responsible for promoting our high-quality batik fabric masterpieces, achieving overall sales goals through exceptional customer service, generating sales of all product categories and reinforcing brand positioning in the marketplace.

**Responsibilities**:

- Contributes towards the company reaching and exceeding objectives and goals; also responsible for reaching and exceeding personal sales goals.
- Provide excellent customer service with the ability to develop meaningful and loyal customer relationships.
- Build and maintain customer base through consistent travel to meet prospects and customers, follow-up with phone calls and thank you notes, scheduling appointments to review new product lines.
- Communicating features and benefits of all products beyond the basics, current fashion trends, and suggestive selling techniques to appeal to the customer’s needs and ultimately generate sales.
- Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts.

**This job description covers the main tasks that are anticipated. Other tasks may be assigned as necessary.

- Aside from a social and positive personality, he/she must be a self-starter and proactive problem solver.
- Ability to communicate effectively and create strong partnerships with other associates.
- Ability to flourish with mínimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
- Ability to prioritise workload, organized and well structured.
- Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations or related field.
- Experienced in outside showroom sales of luxury goods from lead generation to closing deals - preferably in têxtiles with exceptional customer service and client development skills.
- Existing network & excellent customer service.
- Existing relationships with key commercial accounts.

**Salary**: RM7,000.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
