**Job Summary**:
We are currently looking for **1st line IT Support **to involved in solving problem and change management concerning vessel IT incidents and infrastructure/software systems. It requires meticulous documentation and invoicing of vessel IT usage, including onboard appointments and equipment procurement. Ensuring that IS & IT functionalities onboard vessels align with business processes, suggesting enhancements within established guidelines is crucial. Additionally, providing frontline support for vessel IT systems, especially WSM provided software and hardware, is integral to the role.
Position: IT Support - 1st line support (1 year contract)
Location: Menara 1 Sentral - Kuala Lumpur
**What You'll Responsible For**:
- Performing service desk duties, 1st line support and incident handling.
- Ensure VIT support documentation is updated and reviewed periodically.
- Contribute and ensure Vessel IT Manual is updated and sent to vessels.
- Contribute and ensure that Support Hand Book is maintained and distributed.
- Purchase, setup, install & support vessel IT Infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain user, system and operational documentation for vessel IT usage.
- Ensure services are delivered according to WSM principles and guidelines for vessel IT support and best practices as applicable.
- Performing service desk duties and ticket escalation.
- Participate in system implementation project onboard the vessels on management.
- Participate in system implementation projects in WSM onshore when required.
- Provide input to WSM BS&IS AOP, budgeting and planning as required.
**What Experience and Skills Required**:
- Minimum 1 year working experience in related background. IT maintenance and support background is a plus point, Fresh Graduate are encouraged to apply.
