**About the job**

We are looking for a proactive enthusiast who ensures that our data is visualized in an effective and compelling manner and shares our overall vision of “creating a better everyday life for the many people”. As a Data Visualization Specialist, you take on regional responsibilities, striving to deliver high quality data products focusing on the following key responsibilities.

**Your assignment**
- Deliver actionable insights through interactive visualisations, following industry best practices and design standards.
- Support business users that are empowered to create and publish their own visualisations. To provide visual and technical guidance and assuring adherence to established design standards.
- Work with data engineers to automate data ingestion from the data warehouse into visualisation solutions.
- Create and maintain data models and calculations, collaborating with the data architect and data development team to ensure data accuracy, performance and scalability in all visualization solutions.
- Documentation of solutions (design standards, mock-ups, user manuals, definitions, best practices), in collaboration with data analysts.
- Work with the data development manager to establish and iteratively expand and refresh design standards to ensure consistent user experience throughout all solutions with effective and compelling visualisations.
- Be a part of a dynamic data team. Together we are putting data into co-workers’ hands and establish a data driven decision mindset throughout the organization.

**Qualifications**:
**Your profile**
- Experienced in creating reports and dashboards with industry standard visualization tools, preferably Qlik Sense.
- Working knowledge in cloud computing platforms, preferably Azure.
- Knowledgeable and enthusiastic to tell stories with data.
- Familiarity with data modelling concepts, types and implementation.
- Able to document mock-ups, user guides, processes in a structured and comprehensible manner.
- Good knowledge of business analyst methods and tools including requirement management and testing.
- You are curious, meticulous, flexible with a positive attitude and equipped with strong problem solving and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and planning skills, with a drive for results and optimization.
- High proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
