**About the job**
We are looking for a proactive enthusiast who drives our data infrastructure and shares our overall vision of “creating a better everyday life for the many people”. As a Data Development Manager, you take on regional responsibilities, striving to deliver high quality data products focusing on the following key responsibilities.
**Your assignment**
- Building and maintaining required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, loading and serving of data from various data sources.
- Identifying, designing and implementing internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, cost efficiency, and automation of manual processes.
- Work with stakeholders including data/analytics, design/development, product and executive teams and support and assist them with their data infrastructure needs and data related technical issues.
- Collaborate with the Data Architect to ensure our data architecture/infrastructure and data models are scalable, fit the needs of our users, while improving load and cost efficiency on a regular basis.
- Define, document and govern coding and visualization standards and data quality principles.
- Manage, lead and guide a team of backend and frontend developers, vetting their implementations and coaching them to realize their full potential.
- Manage and monitor production pipelines, processes and related SLA’s, to ensure data availability and data accuracy targets are met.
- Be a part of a dynamic data team. Together we are putting data into co-workers’ hands and establish a data driven decision mindset throughout the organization.
**Qualifications**:
**Your profile**
- At least five years’ experience in in managing, designing and maintaining large scale data solutions.
- Experience managing engineers and guiding them through project planning, design, development, quality control, and deployment.
- Expert knowledge in SQL, data modelling concepts, analytics and implementation methods.
- Strong knowledge in cloud computing platforms (preferably Azure) and data related components (Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Synapse).
- Able to document pipelines, data models and processes in a structured and comprehensible manner.
- You are curious, meticulous, flexible with a positive attitude and equipped with strong problem solving and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and planning skills, with a drive for results and optimization.
- A passion to share knowledge and expertise, levelling up fellow junior team members.
- High proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
