Operations Controller

**How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?**:
A. Profitability/ Cost Management - Provide support to Finance Team regarding the checking and understanding of monthly costs - Effective understanding and communication of Profitability by Product line through Management Reporting (Flash Comments) - Implement effective cost management projects to boost profitability - Be a resource person in PvD meetings to ensure operations is in line with COGS and GM ratio objectives - Monthly creation and dissemination of Cost Center reports - Analyzes gaps between forecasts and actuals and facilitates action planning, where necessary B. Investment and Cost Control - Establish the use of e-CAPEX for Normal CAPEX Request. - Create procedures for investment control for normal and special CAPEX - Monitor closely the investment decisions per tranche and per year. - Review Capital Expenditure Request (CER) numbers and implement Planned vs Actual cost reviews - Job order (E&I) control: review the job order costing of Installation projects and esnure proper project revenue recorgnition - Cost Control: prepare the cost centre reports and distribute to cost centre owners and obtain the analysis on the variances against last year or budget. Work together with Cost centre owner to have cost alligned with Budget. C. Forecasting & Budgetting - Designs the overall target planning & forecasting process to capture economics accurately; continuously examines and refines target and forecast processes - Coordinates budgeting process, reforecast process and five-year plan process with business, operations, cost centre owners and finance teams, both in term of P&L and Balance Sheets. - Lead the Target and Reforecast process based on Local and Cluster guidelines. - Review of initial cost numbers based on estimated sales and operational activities - Preparation of Target and Reforecast position papers - Uploading of Target and Reforecast numbers in the AL-utilized system (e.g. Hyperion) - Dissemination and implementation of Target and Reforecast objectives through operation performance D. Management Reporting - Monthly Flash Commentary (Flash indices google sheet/ Hyperion P&L - Quarterly Variance Analysis - Report preparation as per Cluster/Group reporting instruction - Ensure all datas are uploaded into Company's reporting system - Reply to any inquiries raised related to reports submitted - Perform monthly sanity check of all the data in the Reporting tools (Hyperion, Shuttle and PowerBI).
