**POSITION: PMO MANAGER**
**DEPARTMENT: PROJECT MANAGEMENT & SOLUTIONS OFFICE**
**REPORTS TO: VP, EMO**
**JOB SCOPE**:
- Oversee the different areas of project planning.
- Setting project baseline such as schedules and budgets.
- Maintain high level oversight on project status and progress to ensure schedule and budget is met.
- Review the priority of different projects to ensure alignment with the implementation roadmap.
- Analyse financial information to ensure cost is within the approved budget and highlight budget variance.
- Maintain oversight on new projects in the pipeline to ensure timely PM assignment, budget provisioned, and confirmation of key delivery resources.
- Manage day-to-day PMO activities, such as collaborating with PMs in preparing for Executive reporting.
- Maintain the standards and documentation for PMO operations, ensuring that each project manager complies with project requirements.
- Establish and update PMO processes, procedures, and tools.
- Establish and maintain metrics and benchmarks for project performance tracking.
- Develop and implement strategies for enhancing project quality and efficiency.
- Support the Management and leadership of the Company in all project matters.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITY**:
- **Oversee Project Planning**:
- Collaborating with PMs to define, prioritize, and create project.
- Document project creation for central tracking, including project scope, budget, and key delivery dates.
- **Resource Capacity Planning**:
- Forecast capacity vs demand of resources.
- Coordinate the onboarding of contracted PM resources.
- **Project Governance**:
- Meeting PMs regularly to review project status/progress, register risks/issues along with resolution/mitigation and maintain project plans.
- Maintain project cost control plans, including assist in budget development and track utilisation/variance.
- Maintain records such as PMO meetings, SteerCo agenda / minutes, executive reports.
- Monitor progress against plans and schedules, facilitating problem solving, and updating the project plans as needed.
- **Management Reporting**:
- Analyse financial data, including project budgets, risks, and capacity planning.
- Evaluate project progress to ensure budgets and target delivery dates are met.
- **Team Collaboration and Stakeholder Communication**:
- Oversee and manage key communication, including writing and disseminating of key messages for alignment of each Project Managers.
- Assist with preparing presentation material for Stakeholder meetings such as SteerCo.
**Qualification and Experience Requirement**:
- Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate / Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Professional certification in project management is preferred, but certified PMP and/or certified Scrum Master is added advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in PMO role, preferably with supervisory position and experience leading a team.
- Understanding of different project management frameworks, methodologies, and tools.
- Knowledge in concepts such as revenue, organizational structure and cost management.
- Experience in project management using methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and Kanban.
- Good written and verbal communication skills at different levels of interactions.
- Active listening skill including seeking clarification and presenting information in different ways for clarity.
- Excellent organizational skills, multi-tasking, and attention to details.
- Good interpersonal skill and relationship management, including ability to engage / communicate with Stakeholders.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Project financial cost management.
**Salary**: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
