Key Responsibilities:

- **Fleet Operations Support**:

- _Assist the Fleet Manager in daily operations of the fleet._
- _Spearhead reservations and returns of vehicles based on daily manifest of bookings in 1 location._
- _Monitor vehicle usage and ensure optimal allocation of resources._
- _Coordinate with rental locations to ensure availability and readiness of vehicles._
- _Track vehicle movements and update records accordingly._
- **Vehicle Maintenance and Repairs**:

- _Schedule regular maintenance and repairs for all vehicles._
- _Coordinate with service providers for timely completion of maintenance tasks._
- _Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and costs._
- _Ensure vehicles meet safety and cleanliness standards before they are rented out._
- **Inventory Management**:

- _Keep accurate records of the fleet inventory, including vehicle details, status, and location._
- _Perform regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy._
- _Assist in the acquisition and disposal of vehicles as needed._
- **Compliance and Documentation**:

- _Ensure all vehicles comply with local, state, and federal regulations._
- _Maintain up-to-date documentation for each vehicle, including registration, insurance, and inspection records._
- _Assist in preparing reports for management and regulatory bodies as required._
- **Customer Service**:

- _Address customer inquiries and concerns related to the fleet._
- _Assist rental locations in resolving issues related to vehicle availability and condition._
- _Provide support during peak rental periods to ensure smooth operations._
- **Administrative Support**:

- _Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping._
- _Prepare and distribute reports on fleet performance and utilization._
- _Manage communications with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders._

Qualifications:

- **Education**:

- _High school diploma or equivalent required._
- **Experience**:

- _Previous experience in fleet management, automotive industry, or logistics preferred._
- _Experience with car rental operations is a plus._
- **Skills**:

- _Strong organizational and multitasking abilities._
- _Excellent communication and interpersonal skills._
- _Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)._
- _Familiarity with fleet management software and databases (if any)_
- _Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes._
- _Ability to work independently and as part of a team._
- **Other Requirements**:

- _Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record._
- _Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed._
- _Physical ability to inspect vehicles and perform minor maintenance tasks._

- _Office environment with regular visits to rental locations and vehicle lots._
- _Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions._
- _Moderate physical activity, including standing, walking, etc._
