Why does this job exist and why is it critical?

The purpose of this position is to build Maxis Business credibility with strategic partners as part of Maxis ambition to be the leading converged solutions provider in Malaysia.

This role ensures that partners view Maxis Business as an important business partner and focuses on maximizing benefits (revenue, profits, advantages, etc) to Maxis by strategizing and managing the commercial and operational aspects of the partnership.

The job holder is expected to develop and execute strategic commercial plans and roadmap through working knowledge of the core of Partner solutions and programs, benefits, discounts and rebates, licensing and pricing strategies, and be accountable to ensure Maxis and partners meet the joint business objectives and targets.

What are you accountable for?
- Build credibility with strategic partners and ensuring both parties are effective in joint business development activities and GTM to expedite business growth with tangible success measures.
- Strategize how to strengthen our relationship with partners and drive a plan to improve and optimise competitiveness of Maxis Business.
- Expand Enterprise Partnership Program and establish a more complete catalogue of offerings by identifying customer and business needs/requirements and recommends appropriate solutions, programs, or ecosystem partnerships required to build and increase adoption of these offerings.- Ensure partner governance and operational framework is adopted by all stakeholders and is effective in enabling the business at the same time mitigating business risks by working closely with relevant teams including Maxis and Partner’s product, sales, channel, technology, marketing teams to ensure business targets are met, maintaining or improving operational efficiencies.
- Monitor and report product performance, partnership governance and/or any escalation on a bi-weekly or monthly basis and taking correction action if/when required.

What do you need to have for this role?
- Bachelors Degree
- Total Work Experience: 12 years
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong business acumen, building business cases and contract management
- Strong negotiation and motivational skills
- Highly focused on customer solutions, journey and satisfaction
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience managing licensing and channel or partner programs will be an added advantage
