**Customer Complaint Management - Quality**

**Location**: Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia

**Salary**: depending on experience

**Job Summary**:
We are currently looking for a Staff Engineer to join our Quality team.

**Major Responsibilities**:
**Manage external customer requirements such as customer complaints/returns, claims, failure analysis, specifications review & queries, SBL (statistical bin limit) confirmation and other tasks as assigned by superiors.**
- Perform cycle time tracking to ensure timely feedback to external customers.
- Work with operations to perform required investigations/root cause analysis for return products from external customer.
- Prepare Interim and Final 8D Report to external customers.
- Tracking of all corrective / preventive actions and ensure timely closure.
- Manage external customer returns and complaint rate to meet organization / department goal.
- Review and approve all RMA (Return Material Authorization) and DYS (Die Yield Sharing) documentation.
- Review and approve Target Yield calculation.
- Review and approve physical return product and ensure proper disposition & tracking.
- Lead CI sessions with the customer.
- Drive customer feedback and expectation on product’s quality.
- To contribute towards the achievement of quality objectives by complying to the quality operating system and participating in continuous improvement activities (defect prevention, reduction of variation or prevention of waste).
- To contribute towards the achievement of the EHS objectives by complying to the EHS policy and participating in the implementation of EHS management system.
- Any other assignment deems fit that shall be given from time to time.

**Position Requirements**:

- Master/Bachelor degree of Engineering/Science (Material, Physics, Microelectronic) or equivalent.
- At least 10 years work experience in semiconductor industry, electronics or equivalent, preferably with experience in customer complaint handling and quality assurance function. Strong knowledge in semiconductor device physics and process on modern IC manufacturing. Basic knowledge on ISO9001/IATF16949.
- Strong ability to develop and maintain good relationship with external customers.
- Behavioral Competencies

Good interpersonal and communication skills to deal with people at all levels - fluent in English, written and spoken.

Customer oriented - possess good customer service skill in developing and maintaining relationship with external customers.

Good leadership quality in areas of expertise.
- Technical/ Functional Competencies

Good knowledge in wafer fabrication is mandatory.

Knowledge in wafer sort/assembly/backend related process will be of added advantage

Good knowledge in failure analysis is mandatory.

Good analytical, problem solving and report writing skills.

Facilitation and presentation skills.

**Salary**: RM8,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kuching: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
