We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Junior Art Director specializing in conceptual content creation to join our creative team. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate individual to contribute to our brand's visual identity across various commercial platforms.

As Junior Art Director at Wanderlust + Co you will play a key role in shaping our omnichannel presence through visually appealing and engaging concepts and content. Working closely with the creative and marketing teams, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in art direction, graphic design, and content creation across various media channels and formats.

With a love for developing visual materials, you will aim to take users on a seamless brand journey across all touch points. In addition to strong design sense and skills, the ability to strategically approach and manage projects to ensure flawless delivery, is a must.

- Work alongside the design and marketing teams to understand, strategize, conceptualise and lead the execution of the visual and brand direction of the brand and products, whilst being responsible for asset requirements, commercial images and videos required to launch products and creative collaterals in line with launch timelines, that will drive business impact and advance sales strategy both online and offline.
- Be on the pulse of emerging trends across all digital and social platforms and able to conceptualise and produce content that breaks through the clutter, adaptable into an omnichannel experience.
- Ideate, manage and oversee the design direction activities - including photoshoots, videography, lookbooks, linesheets, eDMs, trade and press kits, website/social media imagery, in-store visuals, brand packaging and any other visual projects in line with the brand’s direction.
- Work with Commercial Team on visual ideation, updates and tests across the website, stores and other creative brand projects to enhance and ensure a seamless experience for the end user that successfully translates into commercial results.
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure that social media content aligns with the overall brand strategy and visual identity, while also assisting in providing art direction for photo and video shoots to maintain consistency and achieve high-quality output across all channels.
- Ideate and produce collection photo and video shoots, social content, and any other visual projects in line with the brand direction, starting with trend research, ideation to completion

- Ownership over project planning and deliverables of the design team, ensuring consistency across all channels - for online, offline, trade, media and PR.
- Train and supervise junior team members in producing materials in line with brand's aesthetics - to ensure they are on strategy, on budget and on schedule.
- Manage budget and expenses related to creative production - photography, videography, post production and collateral prints

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Previous experience of 5 years or more within a key role in design, multimedia or content creation
- Strong software skills in Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Premier Pro, InDesign, Illustrator, Video Editing/ Motion graphic tool
- Acute sensibility with graphic design elements, i.e. colour, layout, composition, typography
- Knowledge of visual ideation, photography, branding and digital design
- Experienced with professional photography, namely product projects, and working with DSLRs and ability to edit and capture high-quality photo & video.
- Experience with on-set photography, videography, editing and audio experience and be able to produce high-quality content that embodies and embraces diversity.
- Exceptional eye for design + detail - translating that efficiently and effectively to quality print and digital layouts.
- Understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to explain creative concepts and requirements
