Safety & Health Officer

i. To advise the employer or any person in charge of a place of work on the measures to be taken

ii. To inspect the place of work to determine whether any machinery, plant, equipment, substance, appliance or process or any description of manual labour used in the place of work

iii. To investigate any accident, near-miss accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or occupational disease

iv. To assist the employer or safety health committee in organizing & implementing osh programme /inspection at the place of work

v. To become secretary of site safety & health committee committee

vi. To collect, analyse and maintain statistics on accident,dangerous occurrence,occupational poisoning & occupational disease which have occured

vii. To assist any officer in carrying out his duty under the Act

viii. To submit a report pertaining to his activities to the Project Manager before the 10th of preceding month

ix. To document worker information, minutes of meetings, and reports compiled for management and employer.

x. Responsible for monitoring the implementation of HSE requirements in Samaiden Sdn. Bhd. follow by Main Contractor & Clients site requirements.

xi. Advise and assist sub-contractor for compliance to lifting activity on site. xii. Maintain and update safety records in all HSE related matters & aspects.

xiii. Conduct Daily Toolbox Meetings and Safety Awareness Session for all sub-contractors

xiv. Supervise daily activity on going.

xv. Implement / advise to control risk management.
