Chrisjac Recruitment are pleased to be working with one our longest standing clients to help them find a truly HR professional to assist with the day to day running of HR portfolio at their production manufacturing site at Nilai in Negeri Sembilan. This client is an established diversified group of companies listed on the main board of Bursa Malaysia with one their manufacturing plants located at Nilai in Negeri Sembilan producing high density polyethylene-based building materials.

Being part of the management team, the HR Assistant Manager reports to the Director; however will work closely with the Finance & Operations.

As Assistant HR Manager within the organization, you will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Human Resources functions and responsibilities within the organization. You will carry out responsibilities in recruitment, industrial relations, payroll administration, training and development, administration of foreign workers matters. The primary role will include work closely with the management to support the recruitment process including updating vacancies and coordinating interview process and processing of new starters, leavers and employment administration.

Collate and input all relevant information relating to payroll, i.e. new starter, leavers, benefits, contract changes, absence.

Coordinating any in-house training.

Responsible for the processing of all employee benefits including health benefits.

Ensure that all HR database are updated.

Manage all staff training records and filing.

Manage foreign workers and hostel upkeep.

Monitor and manage staff daily attendance and leave records.

Manage monthly office and building support and maintenance, cleaning and waste disposal.
- Malaysian male or female; age 28-40.
- Minimum qualification in Diploma or Degree in HR Management or Business Administration.
- At least 5 years of work experience in HR, payroll, foreign worker administration within manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge in Malaysian labour and Industrial law, prevailing HR practices and legislation.
- Proficient in oral and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Must be willing to be based at Nilai area.
