**1.0 Job Summary**

Maintains checks, executes all activities of his department which go in for making guests stay safe and comfortable in the hotel. These activities will be directed to ensure smooth and constant supply of weather conditioning, water both potable and for bathing, heat, light and power required for generating all relevant activities

**2.0 Duties And Responsibilities**

2.1 Supervises all workmen, electricians, plumbers, air-conditioning workmanship men, masons etc. in his department.

2.2 Constantly check and maintenance a " Check List " pertaining to all equipment install in the hotel.

2.3 Schedule all maintenance work for the entire hotel.

2.4 Prepares and present for approval of top Management capital expenditure items.

2.5 Carries out methodically all periodic maintenance.

2.6 Carries out constant check on firefighting equipment.

2.7 On a regular and monthly basic works out Codes of alarm for key personal to understand the same in cases of emergency. (The is in particular reference to fires.)

2.8 Recommends changes or more efficient use of mechanical equipment test numerous products and equipment.

2.9 Establishes and administers proper works performance records and reports, inventory controls, works order procedures

2.10 Prepares and develops methods for more mechanic and economical operation of equipment by ensuring their optimum up keep and maintenance.

2.11 Liaises effectively at all levels and carries out all duties as required.

2.12 Direct and administers the electrical mechanical departments heat, light and power including ice, refrigeration and ventilating equipment.

2.13 Reports to the Maintenance Manager on all matters affecting the mechanical electrical operations

**3.0 **Area of Responsibilities**

3.1 To ensure that service standards are in accordance with the Standard Operation Procedures.

3.2 To assist the maintenance staff in their daily works.

3.3 To strictly follow the instruction given by superiors

3.4 Maintain the utility energy consumption day to day analyze figure meter reading. And quantity of capacity using for the end.

3.5 Maintain the quality and quantity of your works at all time.

3.6 To control closely the consumption of material by technician of his section.

3.7 To prepare requisition for material necessary for the job performances of his subordinates and control the issues and consumption of materials,

3.8 Provide electrical, mechanical, air conditioning and other equipment maintenances services.

3.9 Area of responsibility include hotel room, public areas, back of house, production and storage service areas, all outlet and grounds.

3.10 Main sub-station checks incoming supply operation normal all instruments in good condition and operating. Ensure entire areas are clean an dust free.

3.11 To perform other duties outside the normal routine if so required within the scope of the department.

**4.0 **Preferred Knowledge/Qualification/ Experience**

Degree/Diploma in Engineering or related field, or Chargeman’s certificate, with 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

**5.0 **Training and Development**

5.1 To attend all technical skill trainings.

**6.0 **Other Assignments**

6.1 To carry out any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time.

6.2 Maintain the quality and quantity of works at all time.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
