Job Description:

- Take full responsibility for food preparation, meticulously following customized recipes and presentation standards tailored to the client's tastes.
- Demonstrate comprehensive expertise in Asian cuisine, specializing in quality, production, sanitation, cost controls, and presentation techniques.
- Oversee all culinary activities within the establishment, ensuring food quality, safety, and consistency.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Asian cuisine with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- Responsible for food preparation, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Train and manage kitchen personnel, supervising their workflow and performance.
- Estimate food consumption, requisition or purchase food, and develop standard recipes.
- Standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality and establish presentation techniques.
- Supervise special catering events and provide culinary instruction or demonstrate techniques.
- Collaborate with management to develop cost control systems and manage the services budget.
- Monitor cleanliness and safety of kitchen area and equipment, taking corrective action when necessary.

Job Requirement:

- At least having a diploma/certificate in a related field.
- Possess minimum 5 years of experience as a Chef or Sous Chef in high-end or private settings, with a focus on personalized culinary experiences.
- Proficient in food handling with accreditation from the Ministry of Health, and vaccinated against Typhoid, adept in inventory planning for food ingredients.
- Demonstrated expertise in food handling, safety protocols, and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in creating customized menus tailored to individual preferences, dietary restrictions, and health considerations.
- Proficient in various types of cuisine with strong emphasis on international flavors and fusion cooking.
- Experience in menu planning, food costing, and adapting recipes to accommodate varying guest requirement.
- Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and household staff.
- Able to communicate fluently in Chinese.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
