HR and Finance Assistant

So what's the new **HR and Finance Assistant **going to do?
As Malaysia is the global support for all Synkd offices (reporting into the HQ in London), you will be involved in all financial aspects of the companies including AP/AR/ reconciliations and operational compliance. In addition, you will support with the hiring for all offices. There will be a focus on supporting the Taiwan and Chinese offices especially with compliance.
So we’re ideally looking for someone who wants to grow within the business and take on more responsibility when ready.
The role requires someone with an excellent grasp of English, must read and write mandarin and ideally has lived or studied in the UK.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Support with all HR and Finance with a focus on China and Taiwan
- Conduct daily reconciliations in Xero/Company accounts and manage edgers
- Control all AP/AR by markets
- Support with Admin and other compliance matters
**Desired Skills & Experience**:
- Min. 3 years experience in Finance and/or HR
- Part qualified / Level 3 AAT or higher (or qualified by experience)
- Xero experience
- Experience of finance in an international company will be an added advantage
- Understanding of financial practices in MY and the ability to research and implement in other countries including UK, Australia, Singapore, US and China
- Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Work well in a team but also comfortable using own initiative
- Resilience and ability to function under pressure
- Education: BA/BS Degree
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin (read and write)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders at all levels
